I am a freshman studying Robotics and Mechatronics at Virginia Tech. I enjoy tinkering with electronics and personal projects and in my free time you can find me at the gym or with a camera in my hands.
Well versed in SOLIDWORKS; Passed the Certified SolidWorks Professional exam in the fall of 2023.
From my senior Underwater ROV project to TSA's Flight Endurance gliders I've done my fair share of building over these past four years.
Primarily shoots landscapes, portraits, and my family's (slightly absurd) variety of cats and dogs. Currently experiementing with 35mm film photography and developing.
Robotics & Marine Engineering
Senior project designing and building an underwater ROV with telemetry system for marine environment analysis and oyster farming decisions. This comprehensive project involved mechanical design, electrical systems, and software development for underwater exploration and data collection.
Computer-Aided Design
Competition experience in TSA CAD Engineering at regional, state, and national levels with Certified SolidWorks Professional certification. This project showcases advanced 3D modeling skills, technical drawing proficiency, and competition success in computer-aided design.
Mechanical Design
Engineering design challenge creating a mousetrap car that demonstrates fundamental physics principles including potential energy, kinetic energy, friction, and mechanical advantage. Features custom 3D-printed wheels, laser-cut wooden chassis, and CD-based drive mechanism.
Aerospace Design
TSA contest model plane design optimizing lift and drag reduction using CNC-cut foam wings for precision assembly. This project demonstrates aerospace engineering principles, aerodynamic design, and manufacturing techniques for competitive flight performance.
Materials Science
Eisenman Camp 2024 project analyzing truck stud failure using EDS and SEM tools to determine failure mechanisms. This research project involved advanced materials characterization techniques and failure analysis methodologies to understand component failure.
Summer 2022 - 2025
I worked as a lifeguard in 2022 and was promoted to manager after obtaining a Pool Operators Certification. Duties include maintaining the pool's PH and Chlorine levels, managing the lifeguards, and interacting with guests.
Summer 2021 - 2025
For the past five years, I have helped to coach my neighborhood swim team the Alanton Bolts. I help manage the kids and assist them with their swimming technique.
2021 - 2025
As an alumni of Brickell Academy(ODS), I helped staff the annual Leadership Workshops of 2023 and 2024 over the months leading up to the workshop. Throughout the camp, the students learn how to work with each other and build their leadership skills. As the 2025 coordinator, I was responsible for leading the middle school staff(~40 volunteers) in preparing material for the camp.
2021 - 2024
I took three years of Engineering Technology at the Advanced Technology Center. This taught me about the engineering design process and the different fields of engineering. In my final year, I worked on a personal capstone project(an underwater ROV). Engineering projects done in this course can be found here.
2021-2025
I previously attended the Math and Science Academy at Ocean Lakes High School. Some notable subjects taken include Multivariable Calculus and Differential Equations, Physics C Electricity and Magnetism, Physics C Mechanics, AP Chemistry, and AP Computer Science A.
Fall 2025
This is Harvard's Introduction to Computer Science Course which I am taking online.

One of my biggest hobbies is photography. I have enjoy being able to capture and frame moments in a single frame. My experience is limited to the handful of family trips over the past 5 years as well as photography using both myself and my pets as subjects. My photography portfolio can be found here.
Being my profession of choice, engineering is another one of my passions. Through the engineering strand at ATC, I have explored the engineering design process as well as basics of civil and structural engineering, aerospace engineering, mass production, and 3D part modeling and creation. Projects can be found here.
Digital design in both 2D and 3D forms has been an area that has interested me for some time now. I am in the process of learning Blender 3D design software. I also have some experience in both Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. My goal is to be able to create media that compliments and displays my other work similar to how I built this website in order to display my skills.
I have dabbled in basic programming over the past couple of years and am currently taking CS50x. Through this I am learning computer science concepts as well as gaining a basic understanding of Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. I aim to dig deeper into Python and learn C++ in order to apply progamming knowledge to robtics and mechatronic projects.
In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting with my good buddies. As of the beginning of October 2024, my subtotal stands at 965 with a 235 lb bench, 365 lb squat, and a 365 lb deadlift. I hope to achieve a 1000 lb total next calendar year.
As another possible career path, becoming a pilot has always interested me. While I am current limited to flying drones, I hope to one day get my pilots licence and fly recreationally or potentially professionaly.
