CSWP - Certified SolidWorks Professional
I obtained my CSWP in the fall of 2023, a globally recognized certification that validates advanced proficiency in SolidWorks software. The CSWP certification demonstrates expertise in complex part modeling, advanced assembly techniques, and detailed drawing creation. This certification requires passing rigorous exams covering advanced modeling techniques, design tables, configurations, and best practices for professional CAD work. The CSWP designation is highly valued by employers and represents one of the highest levels of SolidWorks competency in the industry.
TSA CAD Engineering Competition
This project was completed as part of the Technology Student Association (TSA) CAD Engineering competition. The timed competition challenged participants to reverse engineer and model a complex mechanical assembly from a single, cluttered isometric drawing using SolidWorks. This required demonstrating proficiency in advanced CAD techniques including parametric modeling, assembly design, and technical documentation. The project involved creating detailed engineering drawings, bill of materials, and assembly instructions while interpreting the cluttered drawing and meeting strict design constraints and tolerances within the time limit.
